Which Above Ground Pool is Right For You?
When the temperature starts to warm everybody starts thinking how nice it would be to cool off a little in their own pool. An above ground pool can provide that relief from the heat and your own little oasis in you backyard. But there are a few questions you must ask yourself before you select pool:
- How much money do I want to spend for the pool package?
- How much level space do I have to install an above ground pool?
- Have I checked with all local authorities pertaining to regulations on installing an above ground pool?
You will need to have a minimum 1.5 feet extra space around what ever size pool you select, so if you were to purchase a 18 foot round pool you would need a 21 foot area to install the pool and have enough space left over to install and maintain your pool.
Always check with your local authorities about any regulations and local laws before buying an above ground pool.
Prices for above ground pool packages range from the $75.00 for a small soft side pool to as much as $8000.00 for a large top of line aluminium pool.

Steel Wall and Resin Frame Pools are the next step up and can have certain parts or all of the frame made of resin. For example some may only have resin top rails and steel uprights, while other packages will have resin top and bottom rails and resin uprights. These type of pools are better designed to prevent corrosion and come with a longer warranty.
